Email us with your iPhone model and iOS version and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Getting started

• Grant Camera & Microphone access when the app asks — they're needed to record.
• Pick a look: swipe the wheel between Clean Fish (modern) and Tape Fish (vintage MiniDV).
• Record: tap the red button to start, tap again to stop.
• Keep or drop it: after each clip, choose Save, Retry or Delete.
• Import an existing video: tap the thumbnail button at the bottom-left to run a video already in your Photos through the fisheye look.

Common questions

The live preview is black or won't start.

Make sure Camera access is enabled in Settings → ShredLens. If your iPhone has no ultra-wide camera, use the import button to run an existing video through the filter instead.

Where do my saved clips go?

Straight to your iPhone's Photos library. ShredLens never uploads them anywhere.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no login — just open the app and film.

How long a video can I import?

Up to about five minutes per clip. Longer clips can be trimmed in Photos first.
